THE PIVOT

After extensive interviews, we discovered that in fact, the actual needs of Comrade were not the "planning" of the event, but in fact were

  • Brand awareness
  • User-Engagement post-events
  • A way to access any of the attendees (most of whom were designers) to potentially hire later on
 
 
 

MAPPING THE JOURNEY

I always make maps, but in this case, it was particularly helpful because our app had two different users: Comrade Agency and their event-attendees

BUTTON & ICON DESIGN

Although the Geometric Icons were more on-brand for Comrade, the rounded ones just tested better with users, so I chose the rounded

SOLUTION: ONLINE ROLEDEX

Place where Attendees and Comrade can both access and add contacts from events, all searchable by event, skillset and industry

 

 

Contacts have email, Portfolio, & Linkedin linked, along with icons denoting skillset

 
 

NEED:

BRAND AWARENESS and USER ENGAGEMENT

 

SOLUTION: A platform where users can

  • be alerted of new events through push-notifications
  • RSVP to events
  • upload content from events
  • interact and converse on message boards with other event attendees
  • Post/Share content and Comrade branded content to Social Media
